Legionnaires’ Disease 8/7/2018

Julie presented a case of a middle age man with history of multiple myeloma who works as an electrician, presenting with acute cough, fever, and malaise, found to be hyponatremic with frequent diarrhea. He did not improve with vancomycin and Zosyn initially, but he quickly improved after Azithromycin was started. Urine Legionella antigen returned positive!
